12 European countries urged the Israeli occupation to cancel its decision of building 3,000 new settlements in the West Bank.
They are Belgium, Denmark, Fenland, France, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Holland, Norway, Poland, Spain, and Swiss.
Britain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development said that the Minister of the Middle East’s Foreign Affairs called in the Israeli occupation’s government to retreat from its decisions issued in October 24-27 to build settlements in West Bank and Al-Quds.
The British Ministry said that the settlements are illegal, according to the international law, and are an obstacle to peace and stability.
This has come after the US administration criticized the Israeli occupation for its continuous colonial settlements, confirming that it hardly opposes the new building in the West Bank.
