Dawood Shehab, a leader in the Islamic Jihad Movement, said that Ziad Al-Nakhala, the Secretary-General of the movement, met Abbas Kamel, the chief of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service. 

He added that they discusses the latest developments in the Palestinian issue and the Palestine-Israeli conflict. Also, Abbas Kamel reviewed the Egyptian efforts to rehabilitate Gaza, ease the movement through the Rafah crossing, alleviate the citizens’ suffering in Gaza because of the Israeli blockade, and to follow up with the cause of the prisoners, who are on an open hunger strike in rejection of their administrative detention.
