Walla website reported that Israeli officials informed the US administration that it will not approve the colonial expansion in Ataroot, which was approved by the planning and building section in Al-Quds Municipality. 

Last Wednesday, the planing and building committee in Al-Quds Municipality approved the scheme that it will be built over the lands of Qalandiya’s lands, between Al-Quds and Ramallah. 

The scheme includes the building of 11,000 colonial units within two phases. The first if approving 3800 units so the number increases to 10,000 settlement units. 

Also, the scheme was put in Al-Quds several years ago, and was frozen many times because of the politocal pressures against colonialism.
