Channel 7 reported that the Local Committee for Planning and Building in Kiryat Arba settlement in Hebron approved building 372 residential colonial units. It also approved building more than a thousand units in the next two years. 

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli occupation’s approval to build those settlements as this scheme deepens the settlement’s expansion in the heart of the old town of Al-Quds, holding it responsible for any repercussions.

Foreign Ministry urged the international society and the US administration to start practical measures to protect the two-state solution and to stop settlement. 

Kiryat Arba was established in 1968 in Hebron, and includes 7,510 settlers.
