The central court of the Israeli occupation issued a decision to demolish 58 houses in Bawadi Yasoul in Silwan in Al-Quds.

Fakhry Abu Diab, the member of the committee of the protection of Silwan’ lands, said that the occupation’s court refused to resume the appeal filed by the neighborhood’s families regarding the demolition, and ordered the so-called “occupation’s municipality” to start the demolition at any time.

He noted that 84 houses in the neighborhood are threatened with demolition, under the pretext of expanding “the peace forest” to occupy the southern part of Silwan. However, the occupation’s court approved to demolish 58 houses, meaning that 620 Palestinian will be displaced.
