The Israeli military correspondent for Kan channel, Sharon, said that a senior officer from the staff involved in the negotiation of the prisoner exchange file had resigned three months earlier.

The correspondent added that the decision to resign was in protest at the way the Israeli occupation's government was dealing with the prisoners' case, and accused the officer Avichay Adraee, of wasting two opportunities to complete an exchange deal.
