The Israeli occupying forces launched large-scale campaigns and arrests in the town of Hazma, northeast of occupied Al-Quds.

Big occupation forces raided the town and turned it into a military barracks before a campaign of arrests of more than 26 citizens began, leading to confrontations between the youth and the occupation forces.

The occupation imposes severe measures on the town for its strategic location, closing its western entrance with concrete cubes and erecting a military barrier on the eastern entrance, as well as continuing night raids on citizens' homes.
