Confrontations broke out during the nighttime confusion activities in the southern Nablus town of Beta, northern occupied West Bank, in support of the prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid.
The youths closed the entrance to the town with burning tyres, while Israeli occupation soldiers fired bullets and tear gas canisters at them.
The Ministry of Detainees and Ex-prisoners, Human Rights and International Institutions and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) have called for the release of the prisoner Abu Hamid (49), adding that he is a new victim of the deliberate medical neglect of the occupation prison administration against the prisoners.
The prisoner has been in a coma in Barzilai Hospital since last Tuesday.
