One Prisoner on Hunger Strike, Another in Coma

Jan 16, 2022 11:10 am

The isolated prisoner Mohammed Arda continues his open hunger strike for the 3rd day in a row, in rejection of the sanctions imposed on him.

Mujat Al-Quds Foundation said that it received a copy of the letter sent by the prisoner, during which he said that he is on hunger strike from food, water, and speech because of the continuity of Askelon’s administration in implementing new sanctions over him. For example, they ban visits, cantinas, and electric devices.

On the other side, the cancer prisoner Naser Abu Hamid has been in a coma for 12 days as a result of the medical negligence policy practiced against him as he has an acute infection in the lungs.
