Zuhdi Al-Ghareer, the chief of the winter emergency committee, stated that the Israeli occupation opened the dams specialized for collecting the rainwater in the east and north of Gaza, warning of an environmental and humanitarian catastrophe for the Gaza families. 

Al-Ghareer warned the citizens living near the dams to leave the area.

The Israeli occupation opens its dams in the depressions to alleviate its increasing water level to drown the citizens and their agricultural lands, causing big losses.
