Channel 12 reported that the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas froze the gathering of evidence against the Israeli occupation for submission to the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
The channel said that the President's office informed a Palestinian Authority committee that gathers evidence against the occupation to suspend its work after Abbas had met with Occupation Army Minister Penny Gants in his home weeks ago.
Gants had asked President Abbas to suspend the salaries of prisoners and families of martyrs and not to go to the International Criminal Court, while Abbas had responded that he would accept if he went on a political march.
The channel stated that Abbas's actions were easing the pace of action to condemn the occupation, but that he had not stopped his proceedings against the Court
