Tor Wennesland, the Special Coordinator of the United Nations for the Middle East Peace Process, called in a session held for the United Nations Council in Newyork for the stop of the forced displacement of the Palestinians from their houses in Sheikh Jarrah and Silwan in Al-Quds.

He added, “I still feel worried about the displacement of several Palestinian families from their houses where they lived for long decades in Sheikh Jarrah and Silwan.”

He also stressed that the absence of realistic perspectives for the end of the Israeli occupation and the achievement of the two-state solution will lead to irreversible results.
