Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the Israeli occupation’s Prosecution recommends the closure of the file of five soldiers accused with the killing of the Palestinian elderly Omar Asad, 80, near Ramallah in West Bank.
It added that the closure of investigation is because of the prosecution’s claim that there is not enough evidence to convict the soldiers.
The five soldiers deliberately stopped the elderly while he was inside his car, pulled him to an abandoned house, cuffed his hands, closed his eyes, and assaulted him.
