Abdullah Qandeel, the director of Waed Captive and Liberators Society, confirmed in a special statement to Shahab agency that the prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid, who is suffering from cancer, is in danger, and may die at any moment.

Qandeel stressed that the occupation exercised medical negligence towards Abdullah Qandeel and other prisoners in the prison.

In a separate context, Abdelbasit Mattan, the patient prisoner, began a hunger strike, rejecting his administrative detention despite his suffering with cancer. The occupation has been preventing Abdelbasit from receiving medical treatment, since October 2021
