The Palestinian Prisoners Movement reported that the Israeli occupation prisons’ administration faked the story of that Palestinian prisoners attempted to escape from Ofer through a tunnel. 

It said that the administration claimed that a group of prisoners in Ofer were planning to escape, adding that this is a slander as the occupation seeks to cover its failure in the case of the six prisoners who managed to escape from Gilboa last year. 

The so-called Omer Barlev, the occupation’s minister of security, had stated before the fact-finding commission in the case of the Gilboa six prisoners, that last week, an escape scheme was found in one of the prisons.
