The so-called Committee of Planing in the Municipality of Occupation in Al-Quds approved a plan to build mini colonial units for rent, instead of the student accommodation in the compound adjacent to the Hebrew University in Jabal Al-Masharef. 

The Municipality declares that the plan includes the building of 220 colonial units for long-term rent, a commercial area and a kindergarten. 

It added that tge scheme will be established on an area of 2.5 dunums around the campus.
