Demolition of Al-Araqib village for 198th time

Feb 23, 2022 01:20 pm

The occupation bulldozers demolished Al-Araqib village on the occupied Palestinian Negev in 1948, for the 198th time.
Activist Salim Al-Araqib said that demolition mechanisms and dozens of occupation police officers broke into the village, removed villagers from their homes, assaulted and dredged a number of them, amid resistance.
The people of the village rebuild their houses of timber, tents and nylon each time the occupation demolishes them.
Al-Araqib is one of the 43 Palestinian villages in the Negev, whose occupation attempts to uproot their people, assemble them into a single village called the " Shaqib al-Salam" and confiscate their land.
