The family of a 20-year-old prisoner Ahmed Manasra from occupied Al-Quds, who was arrested at the age of 13 years after being convicted of carrying out a stabbing in 2015, revealed that their son suffers from psychiatric disorders.

His family said that his psychological condition had been exacerbated by his continued isolation and uprooting from his environment, family and prison companions. The family stressed that he had been subjected to the harshest forms of physical torture, psychological intimidation, and beating; as a result, his skull was fracturued and a hematoma happened inside. Also, the investigators had used a long investigative technique, and a denial of sleep and rest. Currently, he is suffering from severe headache and chronic and severe pain.

The prison administration prevented the prisoner from family visits, communication with the rest of the prisoners, and they denied him treatment and gave him medications that exacerbated his psychological crisis.
