Israeli newspaper Haaretz said that the civilian population of occupied Al-Quds could see a further escalation, with the coming of Ramadan, in conjunction with the so-called Jewish Easter.

In an article in the newspaper, Israeli military correspondent and analyst Amos Herrell said that the occupation should take care of what was happening in the Palestinian scene before Ramadan, especially after the past tense situation in the city due to violations of the occupation, against the holy people and their property in the city, warning of a flammable escalation in Al-Quds and possibly extending beyond it.
