Riyad Al-Maliki, the Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister, in a statement to Voice of Palestine, stressed that there was a significant difference between EU member states regarding the release of funds allocated to Palestine for 2021 and 2022.

Al-Maliki said that the case had evolved over the past year, and there had been a delay in providing European financial support to Palestine, where there had been a complete blocked of such funds on the grounds that the Palestinian school curriculum should be revised.

During his meeting with the European Union Neighborhood Policy Commissioner, al-Maliki said that Palestine would not accept any conditional assistance from anyone.
