Kan reported that the Israeli occupation security foundation is on alert for fears of a major escalation during Ramadan.

The Security Foundation has taken several decisions to avoid escalation, including allowing Palestinians to pray at the Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa during Ramadan, allowing families from Gaza to visit their prisoners in the occupation's prisons, but being confined to Fatah prisoners, as well as to a range of additional "facilities".
