The Israeli occupation forces renewed their aggression against the citizens after their departure from the Al-Aqsa Mosque after Al-Taraweeh prayers on the seventh day of Ramadan.

The occupation forces arrested a number of citizens in the Bab al-Amud area of the occupied city of Al-Auds, pursued and suppressed the youths, assaulted them and injured two citizens, in an attempt to empty the area. They also assaulted the people in the Bab al-Sahra area of the city.

Since the first days of Ramadan, the occupation forces have arrested more than 40 Jerusalemites, some of whom are still in detention, and others have been released on condition of departure from the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old Town and have been fined.
