The Israeli occupation court in Be 'er Sheva decided to transfer the case of the prisoner Ahmed Manasra to a special committee to discuss his early release during a special appeal hearing requesting his immediate release
The defence lawyer, Khaled al-Zubarakeh, said that the court had dropped the profile of terrorism in the case of the prisoner Ahmed Manasra, opening the door to his early release, but had not made a substantive decision on early release.
The Prisoner Occupation Court condemned Manasra in 2016 for carrying out an operation in the settlement of "Basgat Ze' ev" in 2015 with his cousin, the Martyr Hassan Manasra, and sentenced him to 12 years' imprisonment, later reduced to 9 and a half years, when he was a 13-year-old child.
