Today marks the anniversary of Palestinian Prisoner's Day, which takes place on April 17 every year.

The Palestinians commemorate this day every year through events in all over the nation and in a number of countries around the world, to highlight this file and to pay tribute to the prisoners and martyrs of the prisoners movement who were martyred inside the Israeli occupation prisons.

About 4400 Palestinian prisoners are inside the occupation prisons, including 34 female prisoners, and 170 children under the age of 18, and they are suffering from psychological tortoure and preveting from the basic human rights, such as treatment.
