The Israeli occupation police are preparing to secure a march of flags organized by settlers on Thursday, in conjunction with requests to approve similar provocative marches in Lod, Ramla and Acre in the occupied Palestinian interior.

The Israeli website "Yent" stated that the occupation police are preparing to pay thousands of its elements and those of the Border Patrol forces to create a buffer zone between settlers participating in the march and the perimeter of its Palestinian track, to prevent friction between them and young Palestinians in the Old City and the Bab al-Amud area. The occupation police intensified their deployment in Palestinian neighbourhoods in the occupied Palestinian interior.
