Human Rights Centre Documents Occupation Racism in Palestinian Territories

Jun 08, 2022 01:14 pm

The Human Rights Centre "Justice Commission" issued a report on the main human rights violations exercised by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in the Palestinian territories.

In its report, the commission referred to the Nationalism Act and its discriminatory effects, the prevention of reunification of Palestinian families, the forced displacement of Bedouin citizens in the Negev, the increase in attacks against Palestinians in the country in general in 2021 and 2022, the attack on human rights defenders, and the classification of six rights and civil society organizations as "terrorist organizations".

The Centre will continue to submit reports and evidence to the United Nations Independent Commission of Inquiry on the Palestinian Territories and to expose the occupation's racist practices and policies.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the report, which affirms that the Israeli occupation and its racial discrimination against Palestinians are the main causes of the region's instability.
