Nikolay Mladenov, the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, requested in his report on the status quo in the Palestinian lands that the Palestinian Authority would coordinate with the Israeli occupation again and accept the taxes which cannot be replaced by the grants. He confirmed that the UN is willing to mediate to solve the PA’s financial crisis and support the Palestinian economy.
