Nov 01, 2020 08:27 am

The Israeli occupation’s forces arrested 9 Palestinian citizens from different areas in Bethlehem, Hebron, Jenin, and occupied Al-Quds. Among the arrested are the freed prisoner Hisham Abu Hwash, and Mohammed Al-Khatib, brother to the martyr Dawood who died in the occupation’s jails a while ago, in order to force their brother Moayyad to turn himself in. The forces also broke into the Awqaf offices which are wall-to-wall with Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa. The forces searched them and took over the devices and properties. They also arrested Sheikh Najih Bkeirat, Director of Sharia education and deputy of Director General. The Awqaf condemned such assaults describing them as unprecedented dangerous acts that expose the occupation’s intentions and plans to target the presence and work of the Awqaf, demanding the immediate release of Sheikh Najih and return of all confiscated properties.
