Maariv – Adapted
Israeli society is currently in crisis, and one of the main causes of this is due to the leadership's failure, and the absence of charismatic and pragmatic leadership, which knows what is desirable and important for Israel and Israelis, and which has the ability to wisely and powerfully handle the situation and maintain the security.
Those attempting to alter the 75-year-old truth and the democratic system's frailty are to blame for today's disintegration. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was expected to be more cautious about Israel's future, is leading this march. The opposition was also expected to work on fostering public unity devoid of ego and dignity, and to form a single, enormous bloc with the Netanyahu's right- wing party in order to pressure this government to halt its legislative sprint.
The truth is that Zionism, which inspired many young Jewish men to leave their homes, their families, and their education to come here and populate the area of Palestine, is to blame for Israel's existence, not prayers or the fulfillment of religious rituals.
We must now hurriedly forge a unity block with the intelligent and enlightened: Gantz, Lapid, Eisenkot, and people like them. We are losing out with every minute that goes by, and history will not forgive you if you don't come together as soon as possible.
