The Israeli occupation continues to close the Kerem Shalom commercial crossing for the 16th consecutive day, further worsening the humanitarian situation for more than two million Palestinians living under siege.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) stated that the Gaza Strip has not received any humanitarian or commercial supplies since March 2, putting residents' lives at risk, especially as many of them rely entirely on international aid to survive.

Health authorities in Gaza warn that the closure of the Kerem Shalom crossing threatens the lives of thousands of patients and injured individuals due to a severe shortage of medical supplies and the collapse of the healthcare system.

According to the Government Media Office, the closure of the crossing has led to severe food insecurity, the suspension of aid distribution by relief organizations, the shutdown of charity kitchens, and the disappearance of goods and food supplies from markets.
