The Global Campaign to Stop the Genocide in Gaza has called for participation in a global general strike to demand the cessation of the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the campaign said, "For Gaza, its children, and its women, for the end of its genocide and killings, we call on the free people of the world everywhere to participate in the global strike, demanding the end of the genocide against Gaza." The campaign also called for civil disobedience until the genocide in Gaza stops.
The calls for action include Jordan, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Morocco, Libya, the UAE, Syria, occupied Jerusalem, and all Arab countries.
In response to these calls, a wide-scale movement in Bahrain has launched in solidarity with Gaza, demanding the cessation of the genocide and the cancellation of the normalization agreement with the occupation.
