At least 29 Palestinians were killed when Israeli warplanes bombed Abu Hameesa School, which was sheltering displaced families in Al-Bureij, central Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported that the school was struck twice, resulting in a high number of casualties and injuries.

The spokesperson for Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital confirmed that most of the injured are children, many in critical condition, and described the hospital’s situation as catastrophic. Due to a severe lack of medical supplies, doctors are being forced to make heartbreaking choices about which wounded patients to prioritize.
