Only 0.1% of Needed Aid Reaching Gaza

Samar Hamad, head of the Government Emergency Response Operations Room in the southern governorates, confirmed that the Gaza Strip is facing deliberate starvation, as border crossings remain closed and aid is being blocked despite tens of thousands of tons of food and medical supplies waiting at the gates.

She noted that Israeli claims of opening the crossings are misleading, with only 0.1% of the minimum required aid actually entering the Strip—most of which consists only of flour—while hundreds of essential food and medicine items are being denied entry.

UNRWA representative Jon White stated that Gaza urgently needs over 3,000 truckloads of food and medicine. He warned that only 7 out of 22 UNRWA health centers remain operational, and the medical supply stock is on the verge of running out.
