UNRWA: The Occupation is Banning the Transmission of Truth in the Gaza Strip

The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, stated that the Israeli occupation’s ban on international journalists entering the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the war amounts to a "ban on the transmission of truth."

Lazzarini emphasized that this prohibition is "unprecedented in any other conflict in modern history," stressing that it fuels media misinformation, deepens polarization, and erases humanity.

He called for allowing international journalists to operate and report from within the Gaza Strip and for supporting their Palestinian journalist colleagues.

Meanwhile, the Government Media Office announced that the number of journalist martyrs has risen to 226 since the beginning of the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
