Prisoner support organizations (the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, and Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association) reported that 488 arrests were recorded in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, during the month of May 2025.

The organizations added that the total number of arrests in the West Bank has risen to 17,500 since the start of the Israeli genocide war against the Gaza Strip, including 545 women and around 1,400 children.

The organizations also highlighted the increasing theft of freed prisoners' money and property—especially vehicles—as well as the intensification of administrative detention. The Israeli intelligence services have issued hundreds of administrative detention orders, including against women and children, under the pretext of having a "secret file." As of today, the number of administrative detainees has reached 3,562.
