Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that there has been "significant progress" in the ongoing negotiations over a prisoner exchange deal and a ceasefire in Gaza. However, he cautioned that "it is too early to raise hopes," indicating that no final results have been reached yet.

According to Israel’s public broadcaster ("Kan 11"), the upcoming Cabinet session will be dedicated to discussing the latest developments in the negotiations regarding the prisoner exchange deal and a potential ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. This comes amid what was described as "cautious progress" in the ongoing talks.

Israeli reports indicated that Hamas has been working in recent days on formulating a new response to the "Witkoff Proposal," under pressure from mediators.
