The Israeli occupation continues to cut telecommunications and internet services in the Gaza Strip for the fifth consecutive day.
Rescue teams in the Strip are facing difficulties in locating bombing sites and rescuing the wounded.
On June 12, the Palestinian Telecommunications Regulatory Authority announced an escalation in Gaza’s digital isolation due to systematic targeting of communications infrastructure, despite numerous previous attempts to repair the severed and alternative routes over a long period.
In a statement received by Safa News Agency, the authority confirmed that the southern and central governorates of the Gaza Strip have now joined Gaza City and the northern part of the Strip in a state of digital isolation for the second consecutive day, due to the continued targeting of key communication networks and vital routes.
