Israeli occupation forces closed all gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and prevented thousands of worshippers from entering to perform Friday prayers, for the second week in a row.
According to the Jerusalem Governorate, the occupation forces shut down all entrances to Al-Aqsa after allowing only a limited number of worshippers to pass through, under the pretext that the permitted capacity had been reached. Meanwhile, they forced citizens to leave the Old City after barring their entry.
The occupation began enforcing a "limited number of worshippers" policy following six consecutive days of completely closing the mosque's gates to worshippers.
