The Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem reported that dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards.
It explained that the intruders received explanations about the so-called "Temple" during the raid and performed Talmudic rituals and prayers in the eastern area of the mosque.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces imposed tight restrictions on Palestinian worshippers attempting to enter Al-Aqsa, confiscating their ID cards at the outer gates.
Calls from Jerusalemite groups continue to urge intensified presence and steadfastness at Al-Aqsa Mosque to thwart the occupation’s and settlers’ plans.
