Several Palestinians, including children, were injured after Israeli settlers—under the protection of the Israeli army—attacked residents in the village of Al-Minya, southeast of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.

The head of the village council, Zayed Kawazba, stated that settlers, accompanied by occupation soldiers, attacked around 10 homes, throwing stones and smashing windows, spreading panic among the residents.

He added that several people also suffered from suffocation after Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters at homes.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported treating a 3-year-old girl who was injured in the head during the settlers' assault near Al-Minya.
