The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that 8 Palestinians, including 3 children, died over the past 24 hours as a result of starvation and malnutrition caused by the ongoing Israeli siege and the blockade on humanitarian aid.

The total number of deaths due to famine and malnutrition has now risen to 235, including 106 children.

Since March 2, the Israeli occupation has kept all crossings into Gaza closed, preventing the entry of humanitarian aid, despite the buildup of relief trucks at the borders and allowing only limited supplies that fall far short of the needs of the starving population.
