The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, released a video of an Israeli captive from the heart of Gaza City, titled “Time is Running Out.”
The video showed the Israeli captive, Guy Dalal, inside a car touring Gaza City on August 28.

The captive, Dalal, began by expressing his shock at still being alive, saying:
"I can’t believe I’m still alive after 22 months in captivity. We are suffering here — no food, no gas, no water, and no electricity. Myself, the other captives, and two million residents of the Strip are facing these hardships every day."

He added:
"I heard that the army is about to attack Gaza. I’m terrified of this idea. It means we will die here."

He continued:
"Al-Qassam fighters assured us that we will not leave Gaza City and that we will remain there regardless of the army’s attack. This means the captives will die, and it means one thing — that I and more than eight of my friends will die here."
