Save the Children reported that the number of Palestinian children killed in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 20,000, with at least one child killed every hour by Israeli forces over nearly 23 months of war.

The organization stated that its data is based on the latest reports from the Government Media Office in Gaza, which indicate that around 2% of the total child population of the Strip has been killed since October 2023.

The report also highlighted that at least 1,009 children under the age of one have been killed, nearly half of whom (around 450) were born during the war and died before they had a chance to grow up.
