Israeli occupation forces have imposed a strict siege on the city of Tulkarm, closing the southern and eastern entrances with iron gates and banning vehicle movement through them.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces fired live ammunition heavily toward residents and vehicles in the western neighborhood, as a loud explosion shook the city. Red Crescent teams were prevented from reaching the wounded.

Israeli media reported that two Israeli soldiers were injured, one seriously, in an IED explosion targeting an army patrol west of Tulkarm.
