The Israeli occupation army has escalated its assault on Gaza City, heavily bombing homes and schools sheltering displaced civilians.

Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes targeting three schools housing thousands of displaced people in Al-Shati refugee camp. Several residential buildings in the western and northern parts of the city were also bombed, alongside ongoing artillery shelling of the same areas.

The occupation forces continue to demolish homes using explosive-laden robots, aiming to forcibly displace residents and drive as many as possible toward central and southern Gaza.

Olga Cherevko, spokesperson for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), stated that "Israel has imposed a death sentence on Gaza City," stressing that Palestinians now face a stark choice: leave the city or die.
