Olga Cherevko, spokesperson for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), said that the situation in Gaza is extremely dire and that the people of the Strip are suffering. She added that "hundreds of thousands remain in northern Gaza and have no ability to flee."

Earlier, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the Israeli occupation is forcing residents of the governorate into displacement under bombardment, pushing them toward overcrowded "concentration camps" in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

The ministry explained that this area lacks the basic necessities of life—such as water, food, and health services—and that diseases are spreading there at alarming levels.
