The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that Gaza’s hospitals, already under immense strain, are now on the brink of collapse due to the expansion of the Israeli ground assault in the northern part of the Strip.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said: “The military incursion and evacuation orders in northern Gaza are causing new waves of displacement, pushing families—already suffering from psychological trauma—into an ever-shrinking area unfit for human dignity.”
