The Israeli occupation army has escalated its aggression on Gaza City, amid catastrophic humanitarian and health conditions for the civilians.
Occupation forces intensified the destruction of citizens’ homes in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood and the northwest of the city, using booby-trapped bulldozers, in conjunction with ongoing artillery and air strikes on the city.
According to the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, the unprecedented pace of destruction and erasure of residential neighborhoods in Gaza City by explosive-laden vehicles indicates Israel’s determination to implement its declared plan to wipe the city off the map.
Estimates show that it may only take a few weeks to destroy what remains of the city, given the current pace, which is likely to intensify over time due to the massive firepower at the disposal of the Israeli army.
