The Palestinian Center for Prisoners’ Defense reported that the Israeli prison administration has intensified its assaults against Palestinian detainees.

In a statement, the center explained that special repression units continue to raid prisoners’ sections and rooms, carrying out daily brutal attacks that include throwing stun and gas grenades, beating with batons and clubs, unleashing police dogs, spraying gas, and using electric shocks.

It added that prisoners are currently enduring harsh climatic conditions, with temperatures in the areas where the prisons are located exceeding 45°C, amid severe overcrowding, poor ventilation, and the absence of even the most basic humanitarian necessities.
