The Gaza Civil Defense confirmed that it has been receiving distress calls since yesterday from dozens of people trapped in the Al-Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City after the Israeli occupation destroyed their homes while they were inside.

In a press statement, the Civil Defense said: “There are martyrs, wounded, and other people trapped under the rubble of the homes, but the occupation still refuses to coordinate to allow our teams into the area for humanitarian intervention.”

It called for urgent intervention and pressure on the occupation to allow its teams to evacuate the trapped and rescue the injured before they lose their lives.
